Men Holding Hands

Befuddled In Dating Discreet Men

Has it been ages since I last constantly dated a guy? Recently, I have just been fooling around doing out-of-body experiences on a nonchalant ambiance yet I find it hard to grasp the idea that I am ready to settle again. It could be that these non-committed acts free me from any responsibilities knowing that I am not really permanent.

Mind you that I have dated a number of discreet men – from guys who closet themselves because of family matters, societal, peer pressure and discrimination or simply because they are married and they have children. Which is very contrary to my perspective in life since I have never been discreet at all… at any point of my life. It is the ingenuity of my personality of being dynamic, self-expressive and independent, which I firmly believe didn’t cause any roadblock to self-restraint of homosexuality.

Yet, it still puzzles me how do discreet men survive their day. I learned my ways on toning down in public when I am with them – it doesn’t feel right yet it must be done; it feels uncomfortable but it must be observed; it is plainly obnoxious but not too abhorrent to the diversity of my freedom and belief but sometimes you need to meet halfway to un-relinquish the moment.

That’s why I ask. Help me understand.

Warlow's True Blood: Rob Kazinsky

And so Stephen Moyer created a hybrid of a daywalk vampire when Lilith turned Ben Flynn / Macklyn Warlow into a vampire thinking he will be the salvation of vampires as he is a fey –  and yes, he is the new eye candy. Bill Compton has gone too dry being a vampire, Eric Northman is too white, mirroring the glittering pale of the moon and Alcide Herveaux has gone ass; though Sam Merlott still has it, he’s a shifter, ain’t he?

Typical gorgeous man: with dimpes, nice accent and messed up hair and semi-carpeted scruffy physique. Why does Sookie Sluthouse get all the hotmen?

Late if you call it but I am watchin him on Pacific Rim.

Arrow's Oliver Queen: Stephen Amell

This is my TV series for this month. I am almost half-way through finishing the whole season 1 of Arrow and Queen has never failed the city of Starling. I drooled over some pictures of how scruffy with those soft blue eyes and chiseled yet buffed physique of Stephen Amell. I actually find him hotter in full  beard – must be the estrogen working.

Pinkdot

Home: Pinkdot SG 2013

This year’s theme is Home. Like last year, the event is held at night. I guess it is more dramatic when you’re singing the theme song with pink plushies and torchlights with you while you form a massive dot inside Hong Lim Park with a bunch of people who are celebrating life and love without prejudice and hate.

I didn’t take a lot of pictures because I tried capturing the event with video clips. It seems that I need more experience handling the handheld DSLR without too much camera shake.

This is the teaser for this year’s Pinkdot. Come and celebrate with us next year when you get the chance!
