Dear blog,

If you were a living entity, you could have punched me in the face for not even visiting the dashboard for a few months. I know, work is killing me. I have been to a few beach vacations while I was away and I even didn’t attempt to post any picture.

Earlier, I met Leah, my former orgmate in Business Chorale, who flies now with Oman Air as a flight attendant, recorded a duet which we have never learned before. It turned out that it sounds decent enough to be published and shared.

Hello 2013! I know that I have neglected posting because I have been away from monthly vacation trips back home and the work is killing me. Anyway, this would be a short one.

I have been singing along with my favorite duets and I thought if I could sing classical like when I was in Business Chorale – so might as well give it a shot. I found Geekella, beautiful lady with a very enchanting voice; and so I am using her vocals to complete this Andrew Lloyd Webber’s All I Ask Of You.

I haven’t seen the play nor the movie but I have been hearing this song since I was a child. Maybe when I have an ample time to watch a good play… Listening to this song makes me realize that my voice is not really powerful enough to be a tenor. And yes, I have sung countertenor parts because I can reach a higher range than the normal without sounding too tenor (get it?)

Kissing A Fool

Using my D90 to record myself while singing reduces the CPU load so I can sync the music and the voice as close as possible. But I had to do some adjustments because it seems that I need a faster CPU. Anyway, if you notice the stand I am using – is not a microphone stand, but a light stand for my softbox in photography. Haha. If anyone of you has extra, can you buy me a mic stand, please? 😛

Anyway, this song shows that I could not do jazz and I suck in hitting the right tempo. LOL. I need to go back to my comfort genre. >.<
